Loafy's Slow Feeder Insert

Loafy's Cat Slow Feeder Insert sits inside the bowl, with four compartments that makes a cat that gulps eat around the obstacles instead of taking the food in a few mouthfuls.

It's 10 cm across and 3.2 cm tall, made from food-safe silicone. The insert happily fits inside Loafy's raised bowls below the rim, allowing for a full portion of food to still fit.

Day 1
Put the insert in with their normal food and their normal portion. Some cats get straight on with it. Plenty stare at it, paw at it, or stare at you instead. One owner described about a day of protest before her cat gave up and started using it

The First Few Meals
Cats work out how to use their tongue and paws around the walls rather than take big bites. Owners often mention their cat being toothy at first and knocking against the studs. For a cat with a healthy mouth, that settles down.

If they walk away hungry, don't hold out.

Take the insert out, feed them normally, and try again at the next meal. This is a feeding surface, not a training exercise, and a missed meal isn't worth winning the argument.

If it hasn't clicked inside 30 days

Send it back for a refund. Some cats never take to a slow feeder.
